crash when i open another witchsky tab

1. open witchsky.app while signed in
2. open witchsky.app in another tab also while signed in
3. all other tabs besides the most recently opened one crash

i use material you on my phone but not on web i'm on firefox nightly 152.0a1 (2026-04-28)

do you need to set a default here https://tangled.org/jollywhoppers.com/witchsky.app/blob/main/src/alf/util/material3/index.tsx#L30 ? but it's already set to a default elsewhere so i have no idea how this is happening
